About me

My name is Neha Tikore. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University with a CGPA of 8.71, and I have completed my diploma in Computer Technology with 87%.

I have good knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. I have done internships in Java Programming at CodeAlpha and Web Development at Codexlabz Technology, where I worked on Java concepts, OOP, and building responsive websites.

Currently, I am working on my final year project titled “Intelligent Web Application Firewall.” The main objective of this project is to protect web applications from common attacks like SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and other malicious requests automatically.
In traditional firewalls, rules are added manually, but in our project we are trying to make the system intelligent by using machine learning so that it can detect both known and unknown attacks without manual rule updates. The system analyzes incoming web traffic, checks request patterns, and classifies them as normal or malicious.
The firewall works between the user and the web application. If any suspicious activity is found, it blocks the request and logs the attack details. This improves application security and reduces human effort.
